We’re looking for a Junior DevOps engineer to work closely with development team, and to help developing and maintaining infrastructure inside the Amazon Web Services Cloud.
As it’s a junior position, fore-mostly a whole lot of desire for learning and improving is expected.
But, you’re also aware that having a desire is often not enough, and you do need to have previously acquired knowledge as well.
In exchange for above mentioned conditions we require following:
• Solid skills with Git;
• Basic understanding of Unix like operating systems (experience in administration is a plus)
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (Scalability, Elasticity, SaaS, DaaS, IaaS, etc.)
• Understanding basic AWS principles
• Understanding Software Development Life Cycle
• Understanding CI/CD process
• Basic networking concepts (subnetting is a must)
Bonus skills:
• Scripting experience (Python/Perl/Shell/Bash)
• Experience with Automation Tools like Ansible
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with NoSQL/SQL databases
• Experience with monitoring and metrics tools
• Experience with some major AWS services (EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, RDS, CloudWatch etc)
