Java Backend Engineer - full time - Munich, Germany
For our client, leading automotive service provider located in Munich, Germany, we are searching for highly motivated candidates for the following position:
JAVA BACKEND ENGINEER
Tasks:
• You will take an essential part in the creation of the high performance platform which will be developed from scratch
• Distributed systems, microservices and cloud-based are the way to go
• You and your autonomously working team use all your expertise and creativity to develop best solutions that “just work”
• The project has just started, so it´s the perfect time to join and have huge impact
Positions requirements:
• University degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a technologically sophisticated environment (e.g. with high availability and/or high performance platforms – ideally in a startup-like dynamic setting)
• Profound experience with either Java or Go with a really deep understanding of its potential and limits
• Already worked with distributed systems (ideally with configuration tools like Zookeeper)
• Messaging frameworks (e.g. RabbitMQ, NSQ) are no big deal for you
• Skills in Python or Ruby are very welcome
• Extensive experience with the concept of microservices
• Familiar with the intricacies of cloud-backed systems
• Moreover you´re totally into writing code that “just works” (and you know what that means)
• Coding to design patterns, data structures and algorithms is no unknown territory to you
• Fluency in English and ready to learn German
