SCALA ENGINEER - full time - Munich, Germany
For our client, one of the leading online travel information and booking portals located in Munich, Germany, we are searching for highly motivated candidates for the following position:
SCALA ENGINEER
Tasks:
• Working on the extension and optimization of a great web portal
• With strong Scala and JVM-technology skills, you’ll get to code for ingenious web services and applications
• Participate in the drafting, modeling and implementation of the web solutions
• while developing, great performance is always on your mind
Positions requirements:
• University degree in Computer Science or related field
• Several years of professional experience
• Scala native speaker
• Java and/or JavaScript is a good nice to have
• Knowledge aof GIT, Jenkins CI/Maven and RabbitMQ – is a plus
• Comfortable in JVM and know how to use JAX-RS and Akka
• With Lucene, Solr and Elasticsearch you give every search a successful ending
• In NoSQL database technologies like MongoDB or Neo4j you’re well versed
• Apache Tomcat is your good “serving” friend
• Experience with Scrum and TDD
• Fluency in English and ready to learn German
