One Time Job: An Android Component Needed
We urgently need a "date range selection" Android component.
The purpose of the component is to select any date range anywhere between today and (today + 1 year). It should work like this: the first tap should color the date's background in a blue rounded rectangle, then the 2nd tap should color all dates between the 1st click and that date. A third tap, if inside the selected range, should amend the range, if outside the range, should remove the entire selection and should be treated as the 1st tap. The initial height of the component should determine the number of weeks that will be visible and the initial width will determine the size of font used. Names of months should be visible, but week numbers should be omitted. Dates in the past or more than 1 year in the future must not be visible. Swiping up and down to move months should be disabled or not implemented at all. Instead, a nice fat vertical scroll bar should be used to scroll through time (it moves just slightly up and down since we're using only 12 months).
