Veoma interesantno intraživanje tržišta. Država Luizijana je od prilike razvijena koliko i Srbija što se tiče industrije igara. Ima dosta interesantnih podataka za one koje zanima kako industrija igara funkcioniše:

Louisiana and the video game development industry

Executive Summary
Purpose. The Chamber of Greater Baton Rouge and Louisiana Technology Park partnered to fund a study to examine the business case for the video game development industry in Louisiana. This report represents the findings of that research and is especially timely, as the Louisiana legislature is currently considering a bill that would provide video game developers with tax credits for in-state production.

Methodology. Andy Redman of Cambridge University has conducted this study, doing research from England and also spending several weeks in the U.S. interviewing industry professionals. Interviews have included the co-founder of EA, former VP of Sony Online Entertainment, seven CEOs of development companies, the head of the Austin Games Initiative, the director of the
major industry organization (IGDA), members of games media, and many more developers and leaders in the industry.

"The industry is one that business people are just starting to notice.

As a New York Times reporter recently commented, “No one would think of denying that video games are big, but few grownups outside the business have an understanding of just how big they’ve become” (Dee, 2003).

Surviving and maintaining growth even through the worst years of the dotcom bust in 2001-2002
(Laramee, 2003), the global size of the games industry is expected to go from $33.2B in 2003 to
$52B in 2007 (Thomas, 2004).

The industry is expected to continue to show strong performance
for many years to come, and companies are expanding rapidly to take on new trends like online
gaming and mobile phone games.

Additionally, the technology is being used for educational purposes like military simulations.

Analysts predict that digital convergence will make the industry grow at an even faster rate in the future."

Treba dati trzistu to sto trazi.Trzistu ne trebaju ocene sa fakulteta.To je greska svih studenata.Dajte mi neku anketu koja kaze koliko studenata prirodno-matematickog fakulteta ili it sektora se zeli samostalno baviti poslom za koji se skoluje?

Koliko svrsenih studenata konkretno u IT industriji iz ove nam lepe zemlje se preobrati u uspesne samostalne IT preduzetnike?

Koliko njih pak radi do,kazem do 200 eura ili uopste ne radi?

Kako se moze potencijal koji ova zemlja takva kakva je ima u sferi recenih nauka i tehnologija iskoristiti konkretno za rad u industriji video igara?
