Na laptopu COMPAQ LTE 5400 je zaključan bios šifrom koju ne znam jer je tako došao. Probao sam programom KILLCMOS i još nekim ali bez uspjeha. Ima li ko kakvo rješenje, kakav program koji može razbiti bilo koju šifru u biosu!

ja se u to bas slabo razumem,ali se pitam sta bi bilo kad bi probao da dignes knoppix ili neki live linux ...
Kako će podići knoppix kad ne može uć u BIOS i stavit da PC boot-a s CD? ;)
s takvim laptopom je gagarin letio u svemir :) :)

I Have discovered the reset procedure for the LTE 5280, and as I had such a
problem trying to determine what it was I thought I would share. It has
nothing to do with the battery. It is a three pronged jumper just in front of
the left screen arm (where it attaches to the frame). Simply removed and
change positons (mine was covering 1-2 so I changed it to 2-3) and poof, BoB's
your uncle the nasty power on password is gone!! Hope this helps everyone
with the LTE 5000 series.
