Within its Data Department TeleTrader is offering the following vacancy:
Data Engineer
Main Tasks:
Specification of data feeds and data imports/exports
Verification of data feed / data import / data export implementations
Specification of data error detection techniques
Quality assurance of financial market data
Analysis of data errors
Correction of data errors
Data cleaning
Communication with data sources, i.e. stock exchanges or other data providers
Data mining
Supporting other TeleTrader departments with data-related questions
System operations tasks regarding market data feeds
Requirements:
Deep know-how about financial market data (stocks, bonds, funds, futures, etc.)
SQL know-how required
Experience in C# or C++ is a plus
Advanced IT know-how
Pragmatic spirit
Ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with peers
Fluent written and spoken English
