Linux admin with PHP wanted
Control Esc is an IT company based in London, UK with a network support team based in Novi Sad, Serbia.
We have a job opening available for the Linux administrator with PHP skills.
Position is on full time basis in the Novi Sad office. Although most jobs are done remotely, there is ability for the travel to the UK and participate in ongoing projects (server deployments, migrations etc.).
Mandatory:
- Administrative experience with as many as possible Linux distributions
- Solid knowledge of PHP (for web applications such as CRMs)
- Excelent written and spoken English (mandatory)
Desirable (as many as possible):
- Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, NAT and routing)
- Windows Server family (2003, 2008, 2011) administration (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, IIS, SQL)
- Exchange Server 2003/2007/2010 administration
- Backup systems (Symantec Backup Exec, Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery, Windows Server Backup, online backup solutions)
- Windows XP/7 troubleshooting
- MS Office 2003/2007/2010 troubleshooting
- MS Office 2008/2011 for Mac troubleshooting
- Exposure to BlackBerry (BIS and BES), iPhones and iPads
- Corporate antivirus solutions
- Ability to quickly adopt and understand troubleshooting of various server and client applications
Optional:
- Security concepts (firewalls, IDS, VPN)
- Router/switches configurations
- Windows scripting skills (DOS, PowerShell, VB)
- Industry leading certificates (MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, CCNE)
