Levi9 offers near-shore software application development and maintenance, package implementation, as well as system maintenance and support, enabling our customers to reduce costs and to ensure the quality and availability of IT systems supporting their business.
For our Novi Sad office we are looking for an MySQL DBA with the following qualifications:
- MySQL 5.x expertise
- multi-node environment using MySQL replication
- identify and implement best practice in terms of system setup and on-going administration
- Experience in performance analysis and system optimisation; particularly workload analysis and profiling
- Data modelling experience, the ability to be involved in data design as well as identifying problems with current schema
- Ability to identify existing sub-optimal queries or processes and to show how to do it better; needs to be willing to challenge developers
- Experience of managing a database (or cluster) supporting a low-latency web application
Initial assignment is estimated to 3 months.
