Instaliran Slackware 10.2 kernel 2.6.15 sa podrškom za ppp, modem rs232 us.robotics v92 exerni na ttyS0, pokušaću da objasnim ukratko šta me muči:
Trebalo bi na linuxu da radi dial'in server za konekciju sa jednim računarom za update baze podataka.
Probao sam da podesim dial-in pomoću uugetty-ja (Mgetty nikako nisam uspeo da podignem, javlja error 2 canot write echo\n), modemi rade kad se ručno javim iz minicom-a sa komandom ata, pa mislim da je problem do neke konfiguracije mislim da nije do kernel-a ili modema. Konfiguracija fajlova koje mislim da on koristi izgledaju ovako:

a na drugom računaru sa drugim (potpuno istim modemom) sam konfigurisao vezu pomoću ppp-setup, i računar neće da se jevi na dolayeći poziv, da li neko može da mi objasni gde sam pogrešio???
