Microsoft SQL Server Database Developer (for remote work or office in Niš)

people for our new office in Serbia. Our main office is situated in Sofia and our team is over 40 staff
members.
For the future growth of the company we are looking for Microsoft SQL Server Database Developer to join
our Serbian team.
We are looking for Microsoft SQL Server Database Developer to work on various database projects.
Projects will involve developing new software features, re-designing old functionalities, assessment and
improvement of hardware configuration, disaster recovery strategies, integrity, maintenance,
performance, scheduled jobs, stored procedures, scalability, security, reporting, and replication. Projects
will also include resolution of database access and performance issues.
We would like you to have:
* Proven experience in Microsoft SQL 2005 Server development
* Excellent knowledge of database design principles, patterns and anti-patterns
* Excellent knowledge of TSQL and set-based operations
* Experience with Visual Studio and database project management
* Experience with version control systems
* Experience in re-designing stored procedures and functions
* Experience in database performance monitoring, analysis and optimization
* Proven experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration
* Knowledge of physical files deployment and configuration
* Knowledge of evaluating DB Server requirements
* Knowledge of data and index fragmentation
* Knowledge of disaster recovery plans
* Experience in problem solving and debugging intricate/equivocal problems specific to SQL Server
Required Knowledge and Experience:
* C++ and STL (3+ years of experience)
* OOA and OOD
* Experience with QT
* Experience in developing multi-thread applications
* Knowledge of the Win32 unmanaged APIs
* Experience with developing applications for iPad or Android is a plus
Responsibilities:
* Develop build processes, software standards and procedures
* Design new solutions/features
* Improve design of existing code
*Identify problems, and develop solution
* Implement new solutions/features
* Actively contribute in team setting to build, enhance, and support custom-developed software
* Participate in peer code review
* Documentation
