System Engineer (Novi Sad, Serbia)
About Us
Content360 is a 2 year-old startup, developing next generation web analytics services for evaluating content performance. Our clients are in a dynamic market of online content creation and publishing. The founding team has over 20 years of experience in publishing and content marketing with several great projects behind them. We are looking for employees for our Novi Sad office.
Responsibilities:
• You are responsible for the smooth operation of the Content360 platform
• You take care of scalability, high availability and backup/monitoring
• You strive for automating daily chores
• Closely cooperate with developers to discover and fix bottlenecks and solving delivery issues
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ years of Linux systems administration experience
• Systems administration-level knowledge of Apache/Nginx (particularly in combination with PHP), DNS, SSH, NFS
• Extensive experience in managing database/datastorage clusters such as MySQL/Percona and/or PostgreSQL
• Solid coding skills in at least one scripting language (Bash, Perl, Python, PHP, Ruby)
• Experience with configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Puppet)
• Good understanding of caching technologies such as Memcache, Varnish
• Good knowledge of system monitoring (e.g. Nagios, Munin, Icinga or cloud-based solutions)
• Experience with NoSQL and In-Memory technologies such as Hadoop/HBase, Spark/Storm, Redis, Cassandra, MongoDB etc. is a plus
• Experience with messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ) is a plus
• Experience in supporting Apache Tomcat, Node.js is a plus
• Experience with Amazon AWS, Google Cloud is a plus
• Expereince using package management/containerization such as Docker is a plus
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
