Job Description
We are looking for a smart PHP, MySQL, Java and Joomla web developer to join our team. We are developing a new leading-edge trade finance platform for deployment in Europe, USA and Asia. Our team requires strengthening by an energetic, experienced developer who can work independently and communicate effectively with the other team members who are based in Europe.
The product is scheduled to launch by early 2012, so you must be prepared to work to deadlines and provide a strong broad technical capability. You should be able to independently solve technical problems as well as develop new features. You should have good experience of quality programming and be able to maintain the highest standards expected in a financial application. This is a fulltime position, so there will be ongoing feature development after product launch.
Required Technical Skills include PHP, Joomla, MySQL, Web Services, HTML, Java Script, Linux, XML, XSL, AJAX. You should have an excellent understanding of WEB technologies.
The application is under development on PHP, so a minimum of 2 years PHP experience is mandatory.
Experience of Alfresco would be a big advantage though not mandatory. Experience of developing a finance application would also be an advantage, though not mandatory either.
You must have good Communication skills since you will need to liaise via Skype and phone with other team members in Europe. You must be able to analyze, solve problems and develop solutions using best practices of software development.
