Senior Web Developer
We are seeking a talented Senior Web Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate has strong skills in architecting application code and database
backends and is proficient in UI design.
The individual is detail-oriented and passionate about clean and modular code/design
and can deliver high quality software in an agile environment. This position is very
hands-on and involved in the full-development life cycle of projects.
This would be a full time telecommute job and the huors 10am - 6 pm EST.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, unit test, and maintain custom content management systems and new features to enhance
- Translate business requirements into technical specs, code, and documentation
- R&D and evaluation of new web technologies and APIs
- Identify, troubleshoot, and optimize application code-related and database issues
- Propose innovative technical solutions and participate in code architecture
- Maintain and support existing applications
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in online web development
- Proficient with PHP
- Ability to write clean and reusable code
- Strong experience with MySQL
- Strong experience with HTML, Javascript, AJAX, XML
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to achieve results through teamwork and collaboration
- Excellent english written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Pluses:
- Prior experience as a developer in a large media or online company
- Experience migrating classic ASP applications to ASP.NET
- Experience with Pinnacle Cart
- Experience with SilverStripe CMS
