recently we had the same problem with the same Scitex Dolev 4press V imagesetter.
By start up, after step 8-for a short, time a message "I2C address error" was displayed.
Then "Spinner Tasks Fail" - "Laser Task Fail" - "Spinner Driver Error" and finally "Startup Fail".
After half day of diagnostics and imagesetter resets the imagesetter was still not able to enter
the "Standby Mode". Finally, we've pulled out the 3 drivers "DC driver", "Spinner driver" and "Stepper driver"
from the left side of the imagesetter. We also pulled out the main "Power Supply Board". On this board there
was a problem with a blown stabilizator LT1074, which we'll replace today.
On the "Spinner Driver" or "Fast Brushless" there were 4 blown transistors IRFR024N and IRFR9024.
There are total 6 transistors and they are responsible for the 3 phase power supply to the spinner motor.
We hope to replace them today too, and after that we could let you know, whether we've solved our
problem or not.
