Kako javlja sajt Softpedia a prenosi Neowin.net u Microsoftovim laboratorijima se vec kuva Ineternet Explorer 8. Predstavljanje novog Internet Explorera se ocekuje izmedju 30-og aprila i drugog maja ove godine, medjutim izlazak ovog proizvoda na trziste se ocekuje za 18 do 24 meseca. Now, assuming the above is all concrete fact, let’s hit some speculation. Microsoft may not release Internet Explorer 7.x and will go straight to version 8; an alpha version of 8.0 is already an internal release in Redmond. At MIX 06, Bill Gates announced that IE releases would be between 9 and 12 months apart and recently at CES 2007, Microsoft confirmed that the development of Internet Explorer 8.0 had already debuted. Great right? No, not so great. A Microsoft representative at CES 2007 said they expected a period of 18 to 24 months until Internet Explorer 8.0 hits the market. ActiveWin.com is reporting the exact same thing.

Tek su izgurali 7 a vetj najavljuju 8cu, znachi da neshto gadno ne valja sa 7com xD

Ovakav zakljucak ti nije dobar. Softverske kompanije razvijaju softver puno unapred, da bi on bio aktuelan kada ga izbace. Tj. da se ne desi da oni izbace IE8, koji ima neke karakteristike koje su konkurentski browser-i imali pre pola godine, to bi bio cist gubitak. I Vista je razvijana od 2001/2 godine, a XP je tek bio izbacen na trziste.

Inace ja sam korisnik firefox-a, a ovo sto sam napiso ima samo veze sa razvojem softvera uopste, a ne sa Microsoft-om.

Fakat je da nešto nije u najboljem redu sa IE 7, jer se neki sajtovi ne prikazuju kako bi trebalo. Doduše, takvih sajtova nema puno, ali ih ipak ima.

Ne znam da li je problem do optimizacije koda web stranica, ili ovaj IE 7 nije pisan po web standardima.

Što se tiče SAMO pregledavanja web stranica i brzine meni ovaj novi IE 7 sasvim odgovara, čak mi je neke stranice bolje prikazivao nego recimo FF koji koristim godinama unazad.

Možda će u ovoj novoj osmici da omoguće neke extenzije, teme...mislim posle Opere, Maxton, Firefox, Flock bi i trebalo očekivati tako neki veliki upgrade (za MS veliki).

Release Candidate izdanje Internet Explorera 8 dostupno je korisnicima već tri nedelje, a finalna verzija izlazi sledećeg meseca, javlja Microsoft. Podsetimo, IE8 donosi bolju saglasnost sa web standardima, novi sistem tabova, osveženi Accelerators (ranije poznat kao Activities), Web Slices, XSS filter, bolju privatnost i sigurnost itd.

Pošto je najavljena i finalna [RTM] verzija IE 8, mozda bi mogli sada izbaciti ono "[alfa]" iz naslova teme?
