DevOps (Build/Release) Engineer
We are looking for a Build Release Engineer who will be working closely with development, QA and product team. Your opinion and the code you write will define how we ship our product. To succeed, you should have experience with various version control systems, build tools and cloud automation tools. The goal is to fully automate the provisioning of servers, deployment of code and general configuration management.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for maintaining the software source repository
• Continually working towards improving build automation and the surrounding processes.
• Responsible for day to day installation builds and identifying software subsystem integration issues observed during development testing
• Responsible for incorporating new software projects into the build process.
• Works towards improving/consolidating product installation and product deployment
Requirements
• Demonstrated scripting abilities (Shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Perl, etc.)
• Experience configuring, and maintaining Windows OS, Linux OS and applications in both.
• 1-2 yrs experience in programming with any high-end or scripting language (C#, Java, Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.)
• Ability to start multiple tasks at once, open to regular interruptions during your work for urgent requests, and deliver with results while multitasking.
• Analytical and driven mind-set that is able to handle high-pressure situations and face uncertainty (but driven to find the solution nevertheless)
Preferred
• Experience with Vagrant, Docker, Puppet, Chef or Ansible
• Solid technical English as well as good team playing and communication skills
