We are looking for DevOps (Release) Engineer in our Szeged office
Tasks and responsibilities:
> Maintain and support test environments: apply configuration changes, deploy different applications, troubleshoot when necessary, provide support for QAs and develop, handle their queries and issues
> Enhance already available tools (Continuous Integration, deployment)
Opportunities:
> Possibility to get a deep insight in a multitier, Java-based web application architecture
> Understand and learn a complex but effective release process and its tools (Continous Integration, versioning, etc)
> Be part of a customer facing team where intensive communication required (mainly in English)
> Enhance programming skills in different script languages (Bash, Ruby)
Skillset required:
•Soft skills:
> Good communication and English
> Good problem solving ability
> Ability to work in a team
> Ability to work directly with the customer without supervision (after adequate ramp-up time)
> Good time management
•Technical skills:
> Linux (intermediate Linux is a must)
> Bash and Ruby programming skills (Bash is a must, ideally Ruby too, but should be willing to learn Ruby very quickly)
> Optional: knowledge in Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat, HTTP Protocol (good knowledge in these is a plus or should be willing to learn)
> Optional experience with configuring Java applications (or willingness to pick up basic Java)
> Experience with different virtualization and cloud solutions is a plus
