Who you are
You are a computer scientist/system engineer with a BSc degree or higher in computer science or similar subjects, ideally with at least 3 years of working experience in development. The following skills are needed:
Must
- Three years of work experience in HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Working experience with JQuery
- Working experience with SQL Lite database
- Strong power of comprehension and strong communication skills
- Attitude towards product quality
- Fluent English (speaking and writing)
Ideal
- Working experience in mobile app development for iOS (xCode, Objective C) or Android
- Work experience with Phonegap framework / Apache Cordova
- Experience with git source code management
Who we are, what we do
We are a newly founded startup company developing a mobile app in the area of Health and Fitness/Quantified Self. We launched in Apple’s App Store mid of January and we currently experience a high acceptance on the market. Due to high demand, we aim at providing more features to the customers with upcoming releases.
The product provides the users with the functionality to record various activities of their everyday life and to analyze/interpret relations between those. Furthermore, it allows setting and tracking goals for the activities and gives hints on how to achieve those. An additional key feature is that data can be synchronized with the Movesand Fitbitapps in order to automate recording of activities.
What we need
In order to increase our development team capacities, we are looking for an experienced full-time developer with strong power of comprehension in order to develop additional features to be released with the upcoming updates. The major task is to integrate data synchronization with additional activity tracking devices and apps. This includes communication to external API, modifications on the database and user interface.
