Project Manager – job in Bank
One of the leading banks in this region is looking for Project Manager to join its PMO team.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to participate in challenging projects and to apply professional principles, practices and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedule, cost and performance risks to ensure satisfied customers from business units.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
• Works with appropriate customers to develop project scope of work documents and project plans that include an analysis of benefit, cost, work schedule and any related risks.
• Defines the responsibilities of parties involved in the project including customers, management, IT management, project team, vendors and others affected by the project.
• Assigns, schedules, trains, reviews and monitors project work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time and within budget.
• Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of IT projects.
• Maintains effective communication and working relationships with customers and project team members.
• Develops Requests for Proposals (RFP), evaluates responses, and leads selection teams.
You have:
• University degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in project management.
• Formal Project Management Certification (PMP).
• Familiarity with project management tolls like Oracle Primavera and MS Project.
• Demonstrated leadership managing people.
• Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
• A strong sense of urgency of completion of all assigned or created tasks.
• Writing proficiency and visual design skills.
• Good communication skills, fluency in English.
• Experience in the financial industry and/or software development industry is a plus.
