HTC G1 - Prvi Google Android telefon !!

Sto se androida tice, sve je to super sjajno, samo treba videti sta ce se dogoditi
sa GoogleStore (odnosno android market ili kako vec da ne lici na AppleStore).
Koliko sam ja upucen (daj boze da gresim, ako ima neko bolje informisan nek me
ispravi), za sada ne prodaju komercijalne aplikacije. Ako neko zna vise, nek pise.

Sto se tice 'kupiti ili ne', to je odavde malo besmisleno razglabati, treba videti koliko
ce ljudi u svetu kupiti ovakve sprave. Sto se mene tice, videcu da nabavim jedan, cim
mi vreme dozvoli da se vise posvetim celoj prici, cisto da imam spravu za testiranje
(koliko sam video, kamera i accelerometer nisu emulirani - opet ako nisam u pravu nek
me neko ispravi).

Many of you have asked about international expansion plans. I'm happy to
inform you that Android Market will become available to users to download
apps in additional European countries starting early Q1 2009. Some of the
countries we will initially support are Germany, Austria, Czech Republic
and the Netherlands. As we add support for additional countries in Europe
and Asia, we will send out subsequent notifications to you. In
mid-January, we will update the Android Market publisher website to enable
country targeting. Please start thinking about which countries you want to
target and begin preparing your products accordingly (e.g.,
localization). Note that your apps will not become available in these new
countries unless you specifically select them in the publisher website,
after we update it.

Additionally, I would like to confirm that Android Market will support
priced applications starting early Q1 2009, as we'd originally stated last
fall. Given the country-by-country work required to set up payment support
for developers in different countries, we will enable priced app support
in Q1 for developers operating in these countries in the following order:
(1) United States and UK; (2) Germany, Austria and Netherlands; (3)
France, Italy and Spain. By the end of Q1 2009, we will announce support
for developers operating in additional countries. Developers operating in
the above listed countries should begin finalizing their priced
applications, including determining the appropriate pricing strategy.

Finally, please note that our team may need to occasionally contact you
via email or the publisher website to collect necessary product
information (such as screenshots and descriptions). This information would
be used for the Android Market website, found at
http://market.android.com, which gives applications a second channel of
exposure via the web in addition to the normal on-device access.

We will send out additional details on all these items in the coming
weeks. Thanks for your support, and we look forward to continue working
with you on Android Market.

To što ti traži da se uloguješ u Google account..može li bez toga? Ako ne može, verovatno nije problem, mada može biti ako si u roamingu, a on hoće na net

btw, sve je uspelo ok, otkljucan je, jedino josh trazimo varijantu da li mu aplikacije rade ako nema nikakvu konekciju na internet
jer ako je varijanta da mora da bude na net-u da bi radio onda je ..........

E Ljudi imam jednu molbu za one koji su dosli do dev verzije telefona da podele iskustva, imam ortakinju iz usa koja dolazi za mesec dana pa me zanima koji je bezbolan (najjeftiniji) nacin da dodjem do G1 (a u isto vreme da ostanem registrovan kao developer na google-u)

Koliko mesecno MB proguta ovaj telefon(ne racunajuci besplatan WiFi)..?
Jel vas cepa po novcaniku ili ima nekih povoljnih ponuda kod operatera da se to prevazidje..

Po mom misljenju ako je oko 1000din mesecno(racunajuci i pozive, sms..itd)to je ok..sve preko i nije bas toliko isplatljivo posto vecina ljudi ima
kod kuce neku vrstu interneta..naravno postoji i opcija da se "zabrani" pristup mrezi(koliko sam citao po netu to nije moglo..valjda je izasao cupcake koji je to ispravio)..ali onda se smanjuje funkcionalnost nekih aplikacija..ne moze i jare i pare..

I jos jedno pitanje tjst molba, neka neko od vlasnika da review telefona(mane, prednosti, da li je mozda napravio neku aplikaciju..itd)
mislim da bi bilo veoma korisno cuti nesto iz prve ruke..SDK mi se cini mnogo dobar i veoma lako se integrise u Eclipse..bas bih voleo da
da testiram neku aplikaciju..ma bice dana za megdana..bar se nadam..

o New PendingIntent.FLAG_UPDATE_CURRENT option.
o Support for top-level boolean resources.
o Tactile feedback to the LockPatternView. Tactile feedback can be enabled/disabled by going to Settings > Security & location and then checking/unchecking "Use tactile feedback". Note that this can be used independently of the visual feedback of the lines ("Use visible pattern"). Thus it gives users a middle ground between showing the lines on the screen and having no feedback at all.
o PackageManager changes to support un-installation of partially installed applications. Added new flag PackageManager.GET_UNINSTALLED_PACKAGES to include partially installed apps in all relevant PackageManager api's. ManageApplications screen now lists such partially installed apps and the user can uninstall these applications completely.
o Support third party updates of system applications. New menu options in Settings->ManageApplications to list updated system applications.
o Framework support to list current running processes. New API in ActivityManager.
o Framework feature to declare required configurations by applications. New manifest attribute uses-configuration in android manifest.
o Hardware accelerated video encode (video recorder) in opencore.
o Simplified SREC speech recognition API available.
o Streaming audio I/O for applications.

* Significant bug fixes
o Fixed issues with saving state in the view hierarchy, so that you can properly subclass from something like TextView and create your own state that inherits from that provided by TextView.
o TextView now implements onKeyMultiple(), so that flinging the trackball will result in accelerated scrolling. This required some changes to movement methods, and included some improvements to the acceleration computed when flinging.
o Framework bug fixes in PackageManager to share/un-share permissions for applications with shared uid's.
o Significant rework of Settings->ManageApplications Performance and UI enhancements.
o A number of settings in android.provider.Settings.System were moved to android.provider.Settings.Secure. Only system software can modify these settings. Additionally, a new permission, WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS, is required to access these settings. The old constants in Settings.System have been deprecated. It is possible to read settings values via Settings.System using the deprecated constants. However, attempts to modify these settings via Settings.System will result in a log message and the setting value will be left unchanged.
o Many bug fixes in the media framework


Bluetooth

o Support for A2DP & AVRCP profiles.

* Significant bug fixes
o First connection after pairing always fails on many carkits.
o Mini Cooper and some late model BMW cars fail to use Bluetooth or take 2 minutes for Phone Book transfer.

System software

* New features
o New kernel based on Linux 2.6.27.
o Improvements to the wakelock API.
o Work to transition to the USB Gadget Framework underway.
o Basic x86 support.


Radio & Telephony

* New features
o SIM Application Toolkit 1.0.
o Green CALL button is no longer a shortcut for "add a new call". This has been a rarely used feature and confusing if triggered accidentally.
o Longer in-call screen timeout when using the speakerphone.
o "Show dialpad" / "Hide dialpad" item added to the in-call menu, to make it easier to discover the DTMF dialpad.

* Significant bug fixes
o An obscure case where the Phone UI could cause the device to not go to sleep on its own. This would happen if user bails out of the in-call screen by hitting HOME, followed by the call disconnecting remotely.
o Don't allow a single tap to open the in-call dialpad. It is now required to touch and drag it. This makes it much harder to accidentally open the dialpad by touching the screen with your face.


Developer Tools

* New features
o Enable handset manufacturers to extend the Android SDK with add-ons. SDK add-ons will include:
+ system libraries to let developers use additional APIs provided by handset manufacturers or from other 3rd party vendors that handset manufacturers chose to include
+ emulator system images, skins, and hardware configuration to let developers test their applications on their Android implementation

This is work-in-progress. Please note that the latest Android SDK (Android 1.0 SDK, Release 2) is not compatible with the SDK plugin in the new branch, please use ADT 0.8.0. SDK add-on support is planned for future SDK release.

Korisnik sam HTC TyTN2 i stalno pregledavam pre svega strane forume, no stalno se nudi mogućnost koju ja nisam uradio da se softverski ubaci G1 i da od HTC TyTN2 nastane G1 da li je ovo neko probao i kako mu se ponašao. Jedina osim estetskih razlika izmedju G1 i HTC TyTN2 je u CPU sve ostalo čak i šugava kamera od 3.2 su isti. Molim neko razmišljanje nekog ko je ovo probao i napravio od TyTn2 G1, hvala!
