Zanimljivo. Hvala za info.

Pitanja za BBS-a 1) kako da namjestim modem na ubuntu-u 5.10 ( ziva verzija mi je prepoznala modem , intel536( u device menadjeru ), ali nisam uspio da ga " namjestim " , da li je neophodno da instaliram ubuntu pa da onda proradi 2) kako da instaliram ubuntu na disk na kojem je vec instaliran windovs , da li tu ima nekih specificnosti ( vec je instaliran mepis 3.3.2. , kojeg ovdje prepoznaju kao debijan ).

Oko podesavanja modema mislim da ce ti ovo biti korisno:

a sto se tice same intalacije Ubuntua pored 2 postojeca OS ovo moze da ti pomogne (mada ostaje nejasno zasto hoces da instaliras Ubuntu pored Mepisa (a prepoznaje ga kao Debian jer u svojoj osnovi on to i jeste)

Zaista je besmisleno da za jedan OS moram ići na internet da bi instalirao drajvere za modem - a nemam mogućnost da idem na internet.
Logično bi bilo da on najpre prepozna modem; instalira drajvere za njega automatski i tek onda idi i traži šta god da treba još.
Nisam nikako uspeo da pokrenem modem da radi, iako ga OS vidi u hardver profilu, i pored mnogo pokušaja; a spadam u red advanced user-a računara. Podvlačim ‚‚user‚‚- z nači nisam haker; ali valjda nije pravljen samo za hakere. Odštampao sam sva uputstva, jer sve moraš skidati preki Windowsa sa neta - besmislica, i striktno pratio, i... ništa. Isti slučaj je bilo sa verzijom Ubuntu 6, a sada i sa Ubuntu 7.
