Australian company is seeking for web developers
We are looking for developers working on complex web project(s). Working experience of one or more years is advantage, but junior developers will be accepted if willing to constantly improve and learn latest web technologies.
Currently, we are looking for developers on project that will last 4 months minimum. Candidates can be from all over Serbia and wider. We will also accept applicants in part-time position, who want additional earning, and who are able to do their regular job with this new one. Successful candidate will have to be reliable and to accept responsibility for arranged tasks.
For the present time candidates will work from home, in virtual team (there is already one team member in Belgrade), which means that candidates must have internet connection and personal computer.
This is the opportunity for getting work experience with a very skilled team, as well as possibility for long-term cooperation. We want open, friendly and constructive atmosphere, teamwork and individual creativity. We believe that only honest and fair relationship will lead us towards our goals.
The project you will work on involves a telecom billing system. Web interface is very important part of the application, so your contribution will be of great significance.
OS Environment:
Telecommunication industry is based on UNIX like operation systems and our choice is Linux (Fedora Core 5 or CentOs 4.3), and a successful candidate must have basic knowledge of one of the UNIX like operating systems.
Technologies:
- Good understanding of web and related technologies
- MVC pattern
- Webwork + Spring (we will provide training if needed). Your contribution will be more in Webwork area and if you ever worked with Struts MVC, you will love Webwork and how easy it is to work with.
- Java 1.5
- JBOSS + Apache (basic knowledge, the installation and configuration of this application will be provided)
- Relational database MySQL + JDBC + SQL
- Hibernate (Advantage, but not necessary)
- HTML, CSS, DHTML, XML
- JavaScript
- JUnit
Personality and general characteristics:
- Ability to work as a part of a virtual team
- Knowledge of English language
- Motivated person
