Reverse IP Lookup is a great tool and really can give up some goodies if you pick the right server. Well, I picked 3 IP addresses of Google servers to reverse IP and found some gems. Some of these domains are very strange indeed. It really makes you wonder what is going on over at the GooglePlex especially in the DNS department. Maybe someone should contact someone at the farm about this. I did reverse ip on three servers. http://18.104.22.168/ (whois), http://22.214.171.124 (whois) and I found the third http://126.96.36.199/ (whois) via a search and this page.
Disclaimer: I am not saying that Google actually owns every one of these domain names (I know they do not), but some of the mirrors are quite funny especially when you click around on the sites. You get all the internal Google pages. Even if they do not own some of these domains, they apparently do own the ip addresses that these domains are on. Most of the domains are Google mirror sites. One even points to yahoo. Some of this could be blamed on DNS issues, or some other fcukup by the sysadmin, but very interesting none the less.
Some of my favorites include:

I am sure more weird domains exist as there are probably numerous Google server IP addresses and more mirrors. Obviously, clicking around on the mirrors can lead to some very interesting mirrored urls. Someone should take some screenshots, because as soon as someone at bogatic city sees this somebody’s head is gonna roll, jobs will be lost, and the fun will be over. Maybe before Cadbury hit the road he fcuked up the DNS settings? Something definitely stinks. I am no DNS expert and maybe there is some simple explanation, but it sure is weird.
Here are the complete results of the reverse ip lookup done on 9/17/05 via WHOIS. Most of these are Google.com mirrors:
