Highlights of the 10.1 release include the Linux 2.4.29 kernel (with Linux 2.6.10 as an alternate choice in /testing), X11R6.8.1 from X.Org, Mozilla 1.7.5, KDE 3.3.2, and Xfce 4.2.0. For a complete list of changes since Slackware 10.0, check out the Slackware 10.1 ChangeLog.

ziv je ;P.Sta stvarno bi sa covek jel su mu nasli bolest .
neverujem da ce 10.1 doneti neka ekstra poboljsanja ali bice mi zanimljivo
da vidim kde 3.3.2

Gnome je i dalje u stablu, to sto se vise nece nadogradivati je druga stvar, uostalom nitko te ne sprijecava da ga kompajliras sam, a i dropline je solidan projekt...
Sto se tice KDEa pred nekih mjesec dana su se pojavili paketi 3.4(beta1) za slack, nisam imao nikakvih problema u koristenju istog, moze ih se naci na jednom od mirrora

Ništa posebno novo za one koji u sa swaret-om bili u u CURRENT modu i povremeno vršili up-to-date. Još dugo će biti slack moj all_round favorit uz novopridošli GNOME-centric ubuntu/deb unstable ...koji me sve više oduševljava.

Mislim da je prošlo oko 40 dana on prošle godine ako se nesećam Lapce:)I nisam mislio na to neo kada su izbacili betu i najavili 10.1 mislio sam da će najranije da izađe za mesec dana.

Ne mislim da se vredi muciti sa instalacijom nove verzije kad nema skoro nista sto 10.0 nema. Kod mene jos 9.0 radi ko satic.

10.1 nema smisla instalirati za sada.... Slack 10.0 ima ama bash sve shto je potrebno plus kernel 2.6.10 radi ok... sem shto mene mish zaebava :)

*.1 izdanja obicno donose bug fixeve i neka poboljsanja u odnosu na prijasnju verziju punog broja, dakle ne donosi nista novo niti revolucionarno, ali je svakako preporucljivo instalirati ...
