For our client who is entertainment giant on global scale working in Ireland, we are searching for highly motivated candidates for the following position:
APPLICATION ENGINEER – SCALA
Requirements:
• BS in Computer Science or related fields
• 3+ years experience in Object Oriented Design and Java programming
• Scala
• Functional Programming (experience in Java an advantage)
• Event-driven, messaging-based systems (experience in Akka an advantage)
• Messaging brokers (experience in RabbitMQ an advantage)
• Dependency Injection (experience in Spring an advantage)
• SQL and NoSQL stores (experience in Cassandra an advantage)
• Test-driven development techniques (e.g. BDD and ATDD)
• Automated testing and mocking techniques
• Clean coding
• Agile and Lean approaches
• Fluency in English
What we offer:
• Salary range: 55.000 – 75.000
