Scala Developer (Commodity Vectors) - Ireland - Full time

For our client who is operating in Ireland, we are searching for highly motivated candidates for the following position:
SCALA DEVELOPER (Commodity Vectors)
Tasks:
- Involved in choosing and testing technologies, encouraged to develop domain knowledge to assist in group decisions as quickly as possible
- Daily stand-ups ensure everyone is fully aware of the problems and solutions of their peers and everyone is encouraged to assist with their ideas or draw on their experiences
- Roles within the team are very fluid and will vary from developing and launching your own components to pair programming on larger solutions
- Commodity Vectors Scala development
- Work in an Agile-light environment where all developers are vocal and differing opinions are not only welcomed but expected
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or related fields
- Extensive Scala experience is preferred
- 4+ years experience in either Java/.net/Ruby
- Commercial working experience or your own Scala projects experience
- Scala, Akka, Play, Slick, Reactive Mongo
- JavaScript, Angular, Google Maps, Highchart
- Sql, Mongo
- AWS
- Linux
- Fluency in English
