We have a job opening for the position of
Linux System Administrator
You will be responsible for planning, delivery and maintenance of Linux IT infrastructure installation, configuration and maintenance (OS, services, applications) and server and platforms installation and configuration (such as Apache, Tomcat, PHP, MySQL, etc), as well as for technical solutions for all Wireless Media projects, for quality of solutions and service and for continuous improvement and optimization of Wireless Media products and services.
You will be working with Project Managers on delivering solutions on time and to defined quality and customer expectations.
You will also provide 1st line support for Wireless Media products (web portals Mondo, N1 ..), services (WM App Builder, WM Origami) and customers (Telekom Srbija, SBB, m:tel Crna Gora, m:tel Bosna i Hercegovina, Nawras..).
Required skills & knowledge:
• Deep understanding of Linux operating systems (CentOS, etc)
• Deep understanding of network administration, VPNs, TCP/IP
• Understanding of virtualization concepts
• Advanced understanding of web & security standards and best practices
• Good communication skills, ability to efficiently communicate with clients and team members
• Commitment to creating value and quality client experience
• Problem solving orientation, good analytic skills
Desirable skills & knowledge:
• Experience with nginx, MySQL, Memcache, MongoDB
It will be considered a distinct advantage if you have:
• Experience with working in formal Service Desk environment and with SLAs
• Proficiency in creating diagrams with MS Visio or similar tools
• Experience with Azure, AWS, Elastic and similar services
