For accomplishing our ambitious goals, we are looking for:
APPLICATION FIRMWARE DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
in our Research & Development team in Kranj, Slovenia.
As an Application Firmware Development Specialist, you will:
- develop application firmware for electricity meters,
- develop firmware architecture for electricity meters,
- be involved in definition of firmware development processes
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
- university education in electrical engineering or information technology,
- minimum 5 years of experience in firmware development of embedded systems,
- proven experience in designing architectural solutions of embedded systems where the key requirement is failsafe operation and profound understanding of time critical components,
- knowledge of ARM Cortex-M architecture,
- several years of experience of using UML,
- proven knowledge of IBM Rhapsody tool and related code generation issues,
- several years of practical experience in C programming,
- analytical ability to recognize and understand specific embedded systems requirements, knowledge of the “V” development cycle.
Additional knowledge:
- knowledge of DLMS/COSEM protocol,
- experience in using SysML, C++ programming, Matlab, and knowledge of communication layers (ISO / OSI communication model),
- personal competencies: self-initiative, ability to structure, ability to work in a team, willingness to accept changes and improvements.
