PowerPivot proširenje za Excel 2010

Radi se o dosad najvećoj nadogradnji i proširenju mogućnosti ovog najpopularnijeg programa iz Ofisove svite.
Objavljena je uporedo sa Office 2010 Beta, novembra 2009.

Proširenje dolazi kao Add-in (besplatan za registrovane korisnike) i instalira se odvojeno, ali je i vezano isključivo za Office 2010;
to je izgleda model po kome će MS ubuduće podsticati prelazak na nove verzije.

Pre nepuna dva meseca izašla je poboljšana verzija, punog naziva
Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012 PowerPivot® for Microsoft® Excel® 2010

Puno ime incijalne verzije je
Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 R2 PowerPivot® for Microsoft® Excel® 2010

-što ukazuje na podatak na koji dodatno treba obratiti pažnju.

Installation Instructions

To install and use Microsoft SQL Server 2012 PowerPivot for Microsoft Excel, complete the following steps in this order:

1. Install .NET Framework 4.0 and Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime.

2. If you are running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, install the platform update.

3. Install Microsoft® Office 2010.

4. Install PowerPivot for Microsoft Excel 2010.
