P.S. Nisam probao ni jedno ni drugo jer ne koristim KAV.

Baza od kav 5 ne moze na kav 6.
Baza se nalazi:

c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab\AVP6\Bases\

mozes jednostavno taj folder "Bases" kopirati negdje, pa nakon instalacije u Kaspersky 6 podesiti da se update uradi iz tog foldera (prijavice neku gresku, ali ce nastaviti update i azurirati bazu).

Gde Kasperski čuva apdejt? Kod NOD-a je sve na jednom mestu C:\Program Files\ESET\updfiles.
ES je najjači.

KAV7 čuva gde i ostali do sada (//Users/All Users/Kasperski Lab/AVP7/Bases, malo zavisi i od OS) pa valjda i KIS čuva na sličnom mestu.

* on this computer share the folder \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab\AVP7\Update distribution
