Job Description
Empire OnLine is seeking a senior email Administrator with several years of experience.
The ideal candidate will manage and administer Empire OnLine messaging infrastructure to provide high availability, secure, and quality messaging services. Evaluates and recommends strategic growth of the messaging infrastructure and facilitate coordination and integration of various technologies.
Ensures 24x7x365 availability of messaging system. Provides on-call support as necessary to maintain high availability. Manages and maintains infrastructure backup/recovery procedures. Works with the Systems and Networks team to define acceptable use and operations policy for the Empire OnLine E-mail system, monitor the health of the e-mail servers, manages the e-mail firewall appliance, and monitor server logs pertaining to the e-mail servers.
Maintains technologies and appliances to implement spam filtering, virus checking, spy-ware controls, etcs. Provides recommendations to resolve vulnerabilities and mitigate risks as it pertains to the electronic messaging and information technology infrastructure
Job Requirements
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal, written)
• Excellent Sendmail knowledge
• Configuring RBLDNS systems
