Povodom diskusije "Win7 je samo Vista 2nd Edition"...
Zavisi šta ste očekivali... da vam se likovi iz omiljene igrice razmile po sobi ili možda nešto drugo?
Većina značajnih promena nije vidljiva na prvi pogled "golim okom", ali će biti značajna kada se novi hardver, koji je podržan isključivo u Windows 7 i komercijalno pojavi na tržištu.
Nativna podrška za novi hardver (ekskluzivno u Windows 7):

Microsoft is also investigating better support for Solid State Drives and Windows 7 will be able to identify a Solid State Drive uniquely.

Microsoft announced a new add-on for Windows 7 called "Windows XP Mode". It is currently in its beta stages of development, and will be released about the same time as Windows 7. It runs Windows XP in a virtual machine and redirects displayed applications running in Windows XP as running in Windows 7. It will only be available for Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate versions.

According to Microsoft, the features for all editions of Windows 7 will be stored on the machine, regardless of what edition is in use. Users who wish to upgrade to an edition of Windows 7 with more features can then use Windows Anytime Upgrade to purchase the upgrade, and unlock the features of those editions.
