skinuo sam drajver za web kameru na laptopu sa oznakom fajla 'sn9cxxx_2.13-1ubuntu1_i386.deb' i pri pokusaju instalacije na Ubuntu 8.04 mi izbacuje gresku 'Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: linux-image-generic'... da li je uopste moguce instalirati ovaj drajver na Ubuntu i kako?

Ti imas Ubuntu 8.04, ovaj driver nije besplatan i kompajliran je za Ubuntu 7.10 (i trazi drugi kernel).
E sad vrlo me zanima da uradish lsusb i da okatchis usb id tvoje kamerice ,mozda mogu da pomognem.

na zalost, nije pomoglo nista od navedenog... imao sam jos jednu MSI kameru koja sada radi nakon instaliranja odgovarajuceg drajvera... hvala vam svima na pomoci...

Ma mislio sam ako nije problem da uradis lsusb u konsoli, pa da pastujes id kamerice... al nema veze.
Postoji microdia driver koji je jos uvek u veoma ranoj fazi razvoja. Ovo ti govorim zato sto sam morao da povatam sve drivere i infoe za kamerice po linuxom jer sam kupio MSI StarCam 370i, i na kraju sam morao da modifikujem GSPCA drajver da sljaka sa mojom kamericom.

Ako nije problem izbaci lsusb ovde il makar kazi koji lap imas vrlo verovatno da mogu da pomognem ;)

@bobe84 - ja ne mogu da nateram Sweex kamericu da mi radi pod Linuxom, imam samo drajvere za Win XP,
cak ih nema ni za Vistu :) - Chip na njoj je Crescentec Corp - DC1100 je oznaka. Ako imas mozda
kakav info za nju, javi :) Pozdrav!

@kernel-1: daj bar taj lsusb za kamericu, ko zna sta je to u stvari (sa cim je kompatibilno ako je uopste).

E, ajde recite mi koja web-kamerica PROVERENO dobro radi sa Linuxom, ima dobre drajvere, itd,
da je do nekih 30 evra, manje-vise, (konkretno model), moracu nesto da uzmem, a ovaj Sweex cu da dam kumu, on je na XP-u,
tamo ce super da mu sljaka :). Pozzz.

Da, pokreni recimo Skype, i onda idi na "options" pa na "Video Device" i onda tamo vidi jel mozes da izaberes svoju kameru,
odma tamo imas i "test" dugme da vidis jel radi.

kad otvorim skype, idem na options ali tu nema nikakvih podesavanja za kameru.Kad ukljucim camoramu dobijem obavestenje "unable to capture image". Imate li neku ideju sta dalje?

Evo, ja nemam kameru, kod mene pise "No Devices Found". Ti bi trebao da mozes da stavis tu svoju
ako je ucitan drajver, tj ako si ga instalirao kako treba. Pogledaj sliku u upload-u. Tu su ti podesavanja
vezana za kameru u Skajpu.
