heh... da:
Code:
[root@localhost root]# wvdial
--> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.53
--> Initializing modem.
--> Sending: ATX3
ATX3
OK
--> Sending: AT S11=50
AT S11=50
OK
--> Modem initialized.
--> Sending: ATDT3105050
--> Waiting for carrier.
ATDT3105050
NO CARRIER
--> No Carrier! Trying again.
--> Sending: ATDT3105050
--> Waiting for carrier.
ATDT3105050
centrala jeste tonska.
wvdial.conf izgleda ovako:
Code:
[Dialer Defaults]
Modem = /dev/modem
Baud = 115200
Init = ATX3
Init2 = AT S11=50
Phone = 3105050
Username = milan.a
Password = *****
[Dialer shh]
Init3 = ATM0
[Dialer Tone]
Dial Command = ATDT
što se tiče kernela i rpm-a:
Code:
[root@localhost root]# uname -r
2.4.18-14
[root@localhost root]# rpm -q -a ltmodem*
ltmodem-kv_2.4.18_14-8.26a9-1
a sam rpm file je:
ltmodem-kv_2.4.18_14-8.26a9-1.i686.rpm
još su mi dve stvari nejasne iz same instalacije:
Code:
[root@localhost Modem]# rpm -ivh ltmodem-kv_2.4.18_14-8.26a9-1.i686.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
warning: user rda does not exist - using root
warning: group midas does not exist - using root
...ove poslednje dve linije ponavlja jedno 30-ak puta. šta one predstavljaju?
ostatak instalacije izgleda ovako:
Code:
1:ltmodem-kv_2.4.18_14 ########################################### [100%]
Diagnostic information is being written to /usr/share/doc/ltmodem-kv_2.4.18_14-8.26a9/LTinstall.txt
scanmodem finished, proceeding with autoload section
Made modem device node /dev/ttyLT0
group ownership set to uucp

Writing modules autoloading lines to /etc/modules.conf:
Using /sbin/depmod
Updating with: /sbin/depmod -a
Capturing output to /tmp/ltmodem/tmpfile and parsing.
...sad nastupa deo koji mi nije jasan:
Code:
Your system is lacking Default lines in /etc/modules.conf
which are usually needed to support the modem communications protocol PPP.
Some modem installations replace these Defaults
with lines specific to particular modem hardware.
There may be problems using the Lucent/Agere modem without these Default lines.
The suspect lines are:
------------------------------
cat /tmp/ltmodem/tmpfile
------------------------------
and are being inserted in /usr/share/doc/ltmodem-kv_2.4.18_14-8.26a9/LTinstall.txt for your judgement.
Should you insert them in /etc/modules.conf, inform the System with
/sbin/depmod -a
...i ostatak...
Code:The modem drivers dependencies are properly resolved.
A folder has been installed in your Systems documentation,
/usr/share/doc/ltmodem-kv_2.4.18_14-8.26a9
containing much useful guidance and uilities. Updates can be
downloaded from http://www.heby.de/ltmodem/ as DOCs.tgz
To get online, the Port to be specified in your dialout scripts is:
/dev/ttyLT0 or its symbolic, /dev/modem

Some dialer utilities including KPPP require that Each User set up a configuration,
as there could be diverse configurations on multi-User systems.

If not familar with the ltmodem drivers, run the interactive CHECKOUT utility by executing:
