No more XFree86 core team?

The XFree86 core team has voted to disband itself, effective 31 December 2003. The XFree86 Project and its active developers are all still very much alive, and XFree86 continues with a stronger focus on the open discussion of development and technical issues in our development forum. Comments about this can be made on Forum at XFree86 dot org ; registration is not necessary.
