Istalirao sam Slackware 12 i sveje bilo ok dok nisam istalirao driver NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.12-pkg1,
Ne mogu da podesim refresh rate veci od 53 katastrofa koliko moze da boli galava od monitora.
Jasno mi je da treba da podesim u etc/X11/xorg.conf, HorizSync i VertRefresh .
Ali mi nije jasno gde upisati vrednosti da bi sve bilo ok!!!
Monitor je samtron 76v
Horizontal 30-70KHz
Vertical 50-160Hz
DisplaySize 312 x 234mm
VESA Ergo VGA 640 x 480@72, 75, 85Hz
800 x 600@56, 60, 72, 75, 85Hz
1024 x 768@87i , 60, 70, 72, 75, 85Hz

Nvidija GeForce 8600 GT.

U nju dodaj sledece redove

Upsao sam sekcije sada nece da pdigne xserver!!
Kada sam uneo :

Sve je bilo ok ali i dalj je Refresh bio 50.

Posle sam dodao ostale sekcije nije hteo da ga podigne pise.

Postuj tačno poruku koju dobijaš kad pokušaš podići X.

Tu je opisano šta je greška, i po tome se može videti šta treba dalje da se radi.
