Job Specification
IP Engineer works on administration, installation, testing and other tasks related to maintenance of business clients. Maintains core, IPTV, VoIP, WiFi, FTTx and SDH network.
He/she is responsible for all service provider and business critical IP/MPLS network infrastructure operational engineering, device deployment, protocol implementation, and level III technical support of the Core and Distribution layers. These networks provide IP based voice, video, and data services. There is a strong emphasis on routing and switching knowledge.
Requirements
o Minimum 5 years of experience on similar positions, preferably within IP Operations environment of a Telco or ISP
o Strong knowledge of ISP design and operation & TCP/IP and routing protocols
o Experience with architecture and provisioning of MPLS networks and services is desirable
o Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
o CCNA Certificate preferred; CCNP Certificate desirable
o Fluent in English (ability to use professional literature in English)
o Exceptional hands-on IP design and configuration expertise
o Independence and resourcefulness in creating solutions based on engineering skills and knowledge
o Problem solver with initiative and constant striving for improvement
o B category driver’s license (active driver) is desirable
