Za početak, nisam baš siguran da je problem baš za ovaj podforum, imam blagi utisak da je problem softverski.

Al ajmo redom.

Simptomi :
Modem na mom laptopu (AMILO 8380) normalno funkcioniše par godina unazad. Od pre neki dan kad pokušam da pokrenem DUN konekciju dobijam poruku "Error 633 : modem is already in use or is not configured properly".
Kad pristupim modemskim opcijama iz kontrol panela i okinem query modem taster, dobijem sledeću poruku :
The port that the modem is using is currently open by another application. Exit any application that may currently be using the port.
Imam 2 primerka windowsa xp na računaru (SP1 i SP2) i pod oba imam isto ponašanje, zbog toga se i plašim da je sam modem u pitanju.

Pokušaji :
- nisam uspeo da nađem utility koji bi mi lepo ispisao koji to proces drži port (com port 3 je u pitanju)
- reinstalirao sam drajvere za modem i ništa se nije promenilo;
- hteo sam u BIOSu da se zezam sa disejblovanjem kom portova, ali ne vidim takvu opciju kod mene u bios setupu;
- u device manageru pod [I]Ports (CON & LPT)[/I] vidim samo [I]Printer port (LPT1)[/I];

Sreća pa ovih dana imam pristup netu kroz jednu lokalnu mrežu, al to neće potrajati.

To se desilo samo od sebe tj. prije je modem radio na COM3?
Najjednostavnije bi bilo da modemu u properties-ima postaviš COM4 pa vidi što se tada desi.

Ranije je modem radio, a pravo da ti kažem pojma nemam da li je bio na com3, nisam obraćao pažnju.

Ne umem. Pristupim propertisima od modema u kontrol panelu, dobijem odgovarajući prozorčić sa nekoliko tabova, i u tabu modem vidim da piše port : COM3, ali piše na običnoj labeli i natpis nije moguće menjati.

Nemam fajlove telephon.ini i tapiini.exe. Da li bi mi vredelo da ih nabavim ?

Za promjenu com porta:

Au, izvini, ne znam kako mi je to promaklo.
Promenio sam port na com 4, ali opet dobijam istu poruku. Za svaki slučaj, reinstalirao sam i jednu instancu windowsa, al ne pali ni to.

Meni se to jednom desilo i resenje je bilo da preinstaliram windows (ali od nule). Nisam uspeo da nadjem nikakav alat koji bi mi prikazao koji program ili proces drzi com port.

Ovo se dešava kada nešto koristi taj port, obično je to softver za mobilni (kabl, blutut) ili fax ali može da bude i neki dialer. Kada modem hoće da bira, neki od ovih je već zauzeo com port i onda se javlja greška 633.

Išao sam format c i instalirao windows. Nikakve dodatne programe niti hardver nisam kopčao!
Neznam kako da riješim, još mi je hitno!

Ima li kakav program kojim bi otkrio ko mi zauzima port?

Vidim na netu dosta ljudi ima ovaj problem, ali nigdje nema rješenja!
