Instalirao sam Office for Mac '08 i od tada se iMac jednostavno od jednom sam ugasi. Zna li mozda netko u cemu bi mogao problem biti?

Jedno je sigurno, nema veze sa Officeom, to je samo slučajnost.

Probaj da resetuješ PMU ili SMU, već kako se to zove na tom modelu. Koristi pretragu na Appleovom support sajtu, procedura se razlikuje od modela do modela, znam da je za beli intel iMac dovoljno na jedno minut izvući kabl za napajanje i sve USB kablove i FireWire kablove iz mašine, a onda sve vratiti i uključiti mašinu. Čini mi se da kod iMac G5 treba držati par sekudni dugme za uključivanje dok se vraća kabl za napajanje.

Bio sam u pravu, za iMac G5 treba držati taster za uključivanje dok se vraća kabl za napajanje u mašinu:

Za Intel iMacove je potpno suprotno: ne sme se držati taster za uključivanje dok se vraća kabl:
