1. Get ProgDVB (from
http://www.progdvb.com/)
2. On the first screen of the installation, select your DVB card model and click next.
3. Choose whether to allow timeshift (pause live TV) and the space to allow for this and click next.
4. In the list of options, tick "Broadcast Server" and click next and ok on the final screen.
5. Run ProgDVB
6. Click 'Settings' menu and chose 'DISEqC'
7. Click the green dot below 'DVB card' and click 'Property'.
8. Select '0192 ASTRA 1B-1H, 2C' for the satellite and click ok to both screens.
9. Click the 'Channel List' menu -> Channel Search -> Astra 1B-1H, 2C and allow a few minutes to tune in the channels.
10. Choose the 'Channel List' menu -> Scan Transponder and enter 12168000 for the frequency, Vertical polarisation, 27500 for the bitrate and click scan. Allow a minute to find the HDTV channel and click ok.
11. Click the 'Settings' menu -> 'Broadcast Server'.
12. In the Module List box, tick 'Broadcast Server', choose it and click 'Properties'.
13. Enter the IP address of your Laptop or other remote PC. In most cases, 192.168.0.255 will do fine (send to allow PCs on network) although if you have a firewall setup, you need to allow UDP broadcast traffic on ports 10997, 10998 and 10999.
14. If your PC with the PCI card is to slow to decode HDTV (<~2.5GHz), choose File -> Timeshift Buffer Status and tick 'Disable MPEG2 decoder for low CPU use' and click ok. You will need to repeat this step each time you start ProgDVB to stream in Euro1080.
15. Install ProgDVB on your laptop or remote PC, but choose 'Broadcast Client' during the installation.
16. Give the IP of your PC with the DVB card for the broadcast client.
17. Once installation has complete, select 'Euro 1080' from your PC with the DVB card and if everything is correctly set up, you should see Euro1080 HDTV on your Laptop or remote PC
