Wordpress developer - Frankfurt, Germany - full time
For our client, who is operating in Frankfurt, Germany, we are searching for highly motivated candidates for the following position:
WORDPRESS DEVELOPER
Tasks:
• Further development and maintaining of our company website, jobsite and ecommerce blog
• Creation of high conversion landing pages for our campaigns
• Writing a/b tests to improve our conversion and measurement of all metrics with google analytics
• Improvement of the loading speed of WordPress websites (frontend and backend processing)
• Cross browser optimization and transfer mockup or design concept into web experience
• Cooperation with product owners, designers to deliver excellent user experience
• Steady updating with the latest technology
• Communication with marketing agencies and with different departments like marketing, HR, development, devops
Requirements:
• University/ Bachelor/Master degree in computer science, information management or a comparable subject or other technical qualifications
• Experience with WordPress and writing own WordPress Plugins
• Good knowledge of WordPress Codex (Documentation) and WordPress Coding Standards
• Experience with PHP, HTML5, Javascript and Styling (LESS, SCSS, CSS)
• Ability to work with Frontend Frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap)
• Understanding of clean code and various coding principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS)
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to work with little to no supervision
• Professional English skills, German is optional
