Wanted: Graphic designer with basic PHP understanding.Webhosting company from Canada is looking for one graphic designer with following capabilities:
- HTML and CSS knowledge is a MUST
- Basic PHP understanding a MUST. Does not need to know how to write PHP code but needs to be able to work around the existing PHP code without breaking it and be able to modify code lines that affect visual appearance of the page without breaking them.
- Verifiable prior art
- Must be able to understand and express him/herself in written English without ambiguity
- Industry certification a bonus, but not required
- Formal education a bonus if related to the field in question, but not required (highschool is minimum, though)
- Work is honorary from home and pays by the hour. Applicant must have a SWIFT enabled bank account in a country not on Canada’s "blacklist" (Serbia is ok) or regular Canadian bank account. Local tax law compliance is applicant's responsability. Alternatively we can pay into PayPal account if applicant has receivable account.
- Must be ready to present daily report on work done and justify time billed
- Must be able to produce graphical content without infringing on 3rd party copyright and must vouch for this in writing.
- Applicant is free to utilize his/her preferred tools provided that the end result is consistently viewable across browsers. We will not provide or pay for any tools.
The agreed work will consist of modifying graphical elements on an existing PHP site for a client, converting a strict formal North American business look into a “Caribbean” business look. If project is successful applicant will be considered in advance for future ongoing work.
