We are currently seeking a PHP programmer/project coordinator for a long term position at a rapidly growing startup company.

Requirements
----------------------
• Understanding of OOP in PHP
• Be able to work with namespaces in PHP 5.3+
• At least 5 years plus, experience as a PHP developer
• Knowledge of design patterns
• MySQL databases

Bonus skills
------------------------
• Knowledge of Symfony2
• Javascript and jQuery
• Designing relational databases in MySQL with an understanding of triggers, cascades and foreign key constraints
• Hypermedia API’s

• Must have a Skype account with a mic and be willing to have conversations over the phone
• Excellent written and spoken English
• You must be flexible and be able to stay an extra hour to help solve a problem if it’s necessary
• Does not need their work to be double checked constantly because they have done it correct the first time
• Is interested in continuing their education

Some information about our technology and project

• Custom MVC PHP framework built on top of Symfony2 components
- Run multiple dedicated and VPS Linux servers with Apache and MySQL
• We work heavily with API’s including FoxyCart, Method CRM, Constant Contact, Google Analytics and Twilio.
• We have many large scale WordPress websites that funnel phone traffic around the nation. We have custom systems that we have built on top of Twilio to handle all the calls

What we are looking for exactly:

• A full time PHP programmer to help up extent and new features to the technology we are developing
• Help us in refactoring old code into the new core/framework of the system
• Someone who can eventually take over a leadership position in the company and have junior developers under them that they are responsible for training and developing
