Senior JavaScript Developer - Germany, Berlin - full time
For our client who is operating in Berlin, Germany, we are searching for highly motivated candidates for the following position:
SENIOR JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER
Your Tasks:
Develop, maintain, and enhance our Web application
Collaborate around the creation of new and existing features
Participate in software design and code assessment
Diagnose and debug issues in a production environment
Keep up-to-date on the latest Web developments and respond to customer feedback
Craft and maintain world-class JavaScript Web experiences
Closely collaborate with our backend team to efficiently use and help grow our RESTful API
Your Profile:
3+ years experience with Javascript development
Clean Code principles
General understanding of core Computer Science concepts
Experience with JS MV* frameworks (preferably Backbone)
Experience with development in async, event driven paradigms (able to debug problems that happen out of
the expected, procedural flow)
Comfortable using unix shell (tinkering with npm, grunt, deployment scripts, tests…)
Experience with CSS preprocessors (we use SASS)
Experience with testing frameworks
Able to dive in and understand inner details of low-level libraries (e.g. very Backbone, jQuery etc.)
Brilliant collaborative and interpersonal skills (advanced English is required)
