Java (Groovy/Grails) developer
Required knowledge & Experience:
• Spring, Spring MVC
• JPA, Hibernate, SQL
• Grails/Groovy is a strong plus
• Web services: JAX-WS, JAX-RS, Spring-WS
• Development Tooling: Maven, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo/Hudson/Jenkins, SVN/DCVS(Git/Mercurial)
• XML Technologies: XSLT, XSD, JAXB
• Methodologies: TDD, SCRUM
• Web technologies: HTML(5), CSS(3), Javascript, jQuery, jQuery mobile
Required skills:
• Pro-active, independent and pragmatic
• Able to assimilate new technologies quickly and apply them to different problem domains in creative and efficient ways.
• You must be able to operate in an R&D environment - in other words, find solutions without necessarily having detailed specifications.
• The ability to work efficiently on multiple projects at the same time and switch context efficiently as priorities dictate.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
