Ruby on Rails developer - full time - Berlin, Germany
For our client who is operating in Berlin, Germany, we are searching for highly motivated senior Ruby on Rails Developer for the following position:
SENIOR RUBY ON RAILS DEVELOPER
Tasks:
- Lead the development team to maintain and develop a client website
- Suggest and implement improvements for performance, user experience, and promote the latest technologies
- Work with the other developers to ensure quality of code is maintained
- Work with the design team to continually improve the front-end offering across clients site
- Being part of the business and working with non-technical team members to achieve results
- Pushing boundaries, implementing new solutions in a matter of days from idea to implementation
Positions requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science
- Very strong background in Ruby and the Rails ecosystem
- 4 + years of experience
- Ability to work closely with the business to achieve objectives
- Experience in Web development HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experienced in Agile methodology
- User centered and really get web usability
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
