As part of the company’s strategy to increase its global presence, we are opening an office inthe Republic of Serbia where we aim to recruit talented IT professionals to work on the nextgeneration of company products.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Create and manage virtualized environments both for production and testing environments
• Develop scripting solutions using primarily Linux based scripting environment (shell, python, perl)
• Troubleshoot and document server and system problems in a timely fashion
• Compile systems documentation as required
• Build and maintain sandbox infrastructure for development and testing
• Proactively monitor, identify, and resolve system ailments such as database integrity, database replication, and network access and take the proper corrective action
• Participate in provisioning of new environments and capabilities
• Build software components from Java, C++, C#, and Perl source cod.
• Direct the deployment of software components to our production servers
• Maintain source code repositories and promote best practices
• Report metrics and provide work estimates
• Develop and maintain automated software build processes for Java leading to deployment ready systems
• Works with development teams to improve standards for software configuration
• Participate in business and architectural meetings for future projects
• Document process and procedures related to the deployment of software
Required Skills:
• Experience with some sort Linux software build tools (Maven, make, autoconf, grails)
• Experience with virtualization (VMware preferred)
• Experience with software source control system (CVS, Surround SCM, GIT)
• Familiarity with Linux (CentOS/RedHat) system administration.
• Familiarity with MySQL, Apache, and Tomcat servers
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of basic cloud methodologies and virtualized infrastructures
• Familiarity with Continuous Integrations tools and methods
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Java programming including experience with developing internet based applications
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Understanding of Agile Development Methodology
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Fluent in written and spoken English
