Skills:
> Good knowledge of Theme integration on WordPress or any other open source Platform.
> Worked with Responsive web designs.
> Familiar with creating WordPress plug-ins or basic customization.
> Experienced with Javascript/JQuery or similar framework.
Front End Web Developer role overview:
> Taking our creative PSDs and converting them into beautiful HTML responsive designs
> Theme integration into open source platforms e.g.: WordPress
> Making websites interactive by adding those special touches to make them amazing (CSS3 and JavaScript)
> Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies
> Conducting observational user testing or reviewing websites against original designs for consistency
Your skills:
> Excellent knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 with clean, semantic and accessible markup
> Experience in developing responsive web designs
> Good working knowledge of Javascript / jQuery
> Experience with WordPress is essential
> Have an understanding of colours, fonts, use of white space, design and industry standards
> Experience in Illustrator, InDesign or Photoshop
> Exp. with CSS pre-processors (LESS or SASS)
> Experience of working in LAMP environment
Plus points:
> LAMP Administration skills
> Know-how of Drupal, Joomla, Magento etc.
> Experience with other Javascript frameworks.
> Some understanding of other programming languages such as Java/C++/.NET could be helpful but not essential.
