Linux System Administrator
Primary tasks:
* Installing, configuring and maintaining Debian Linux servers
* Managing various services (mySQL, Apache, DNS, mail)
* Monitoring
* Implementing best security practices
* Application deployment
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 year experience in managing Debian Linux servers and services
* Experience with Linux High Availability
* Specific high level of knowledge in the following fields:
– Apache HTTPD, Nginx, Web Servers High Availability and Load Balancing
– IPTables, network and routing
– Management of DNS, Sendmail/Postfix
– mySQL Replication and High Availability
– Shell Scripting (Bash)
– XEN Virtualization
Knowledge in the following areas/technologies will be consider as advantage:
– Experience with OpenStack
– Experience in managing CISCO routers and switches
– Experience in managing Tomcat/Glassfish application service
– Experience with Solaris administration
– Basic knowledge of Windows Server technologies
– Knowledge of some programming language
